A Hall County man was arrested Friday after his sister was found shot to death, officials said.

Bradley Scott Holland, 35, of Gainesville, has been charged with murder, Lt. Scott Ware of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said.

Officers responded after 6 p.m. to a location on Third Street in Chicopee Village after receiving a 911 call about a shooting, Ware said.

Deputies found the body of Stacey Allison with a gunshot wound to her head, Ware said. A handgun believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered at the scene.

Allison was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead, Ware said.

Holland was arrested without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail.

The investigation continues.
