A Floyd County man was convicted of raping and abusing young children, according to The Rome News-Tribune.
Mark David Wagner, 40, had physically and sexually abused the children since they were young, the newspaper reported. It was not reported how many victims Wagner abused.
Wagner would beat the children, force food down their throats and rape them. His friend, Jimmy Harold Duncan, 38, faces aggravated sexual battery charges after authorities said he would also abuse the children, according to the paper.
When the children fought back, authorities said the men would spin them around until the children couldn’t fight anymore and continue the abuse.
Wagner’s wife, Brandy Nicole Wagner, 32, faces two counts third-degree child cruelty charges for having knowledge of the alleged abuse.
