The four people are accused of trying to rob 23-year-old Tyler Ford and shooting him outside his apartment Oct. 26.

Ford heard a knock at the front door, went to open it and was shot in his River Pointe Apartments unit on Lovvorn Road in Carrollton, officials said. Investigators said they found cash and marijuana on the floor next to Ford’s body.
