Two people were found shot to death Friday night in a Powder Springs residence, police said.

About 11 p.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at a home on Mustang Drive, spokesman Justin Arndt said.

Police entered through an unsecured door to check on the people inside. They found a man and a woman dead, Arndt said.

“The female subject appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds and the male subject appeared to have one self-inflicted gunshot wound,” Arndt said.

The people were identified as Kevin Cerone Taylor and Tia Christian Taylor, both 37, police said.

“Based on evidence at the scene and the circumstances surrounding the case this incident appears to be domestic related,” Arndt said in an email. “The Criminal Investigation Unit is not pursuing any suspects at this time.”
