The 28-year old’s body was found after his 9-year-old daughter became worried he wasn’t responding to calls and texts.

His mother said Cosby Jr, who went by “CJ,” communicated with his two daughters several times a day.

Jaynicia Cosby said her son worked in a warehouse and hadn’t been in more trouble than a traffic ticket.

She and CJ’s father believe the person who knocked on the door and rang the bell meant to kill their son.

“My problem is you came up to the house with bad intentions,” father Carl Cosby Sr. told Channel 2. “You actually rang the doorbell several times, waiting on somebody to open the door. It could have been my mother, but it was my son.”

Anyone who may recognize the man in the surveillance video is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, text information to 274637 or visit crimestoppersatlanta.org. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000.
