The Clayton County sheriff used Valentine’s Day to send an important message about love: it shouldn’t involve abuse.

Sheriff Victor Hill called the operation “Scorned Knight” and sent a team to round up people charged with domestic violence, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Twenty people were arrested Tuesday.

"Love and abuse is like oil and water,” Hill said in the news release. “They simply do not mix."

Victims of domestic violence are encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 770-477-4479.
