Authorities arrested a former prison nurse and accused her of having sex with a convicted rapist and posing as his mother to send him money.
Jodi Suzanne Rigby, 35, was arrested at her home Thursday morning on several charges of sexual assault, the Macon Telegraph reported.
She resigned as a contract nurse from Central State Prison in Bibb County in September 2015 when the investigation began.
Rigby allegedly had sex with a man for two months and posed as his mom to send him $600, the paper reported.
Authorities said she also sent an armed robbery inmate $325 through PayPal, just two months after her resignation.
She’s also accused of posing as another armed robbery inmate’s mom to send him $215.
She remains in the Bibb County jail without bond.
