A Cobb County woman was killed in a wrong-way crash after her car was struck by three other cars at the intersection of Cumberland Parkway and Beech Haven Trail, officials said.

The woman was traveling southbound Wednesday on Cumberland Parkway when she lost control of her car and traveled into the northbound lanes, Cobb police Sgt. Brody Staud told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She died at the scene.

Police did not identify the victim, but said she was 30 and was from Mableton.

Others were injured in the crash, but police did not release specifics on those wounded.
