A former Wal-Mart cashier has been accused of “deceptively taking” about $1,700 in merchandise from the store in Milton earlier this month, police said.

Six times from Dec. 7-18, Sienna Drew Gray voided out some items that she had scanned, yet gave the items to a customer, according to a police incident report. Slightly more than 100 items were involved.

Gray also gave some items to the customer without scanning them, police said.

The same unidentified person was involved in all of the deceptive transactions at the store on Windward Parkway, police said.

Wal-Mart officials noticed the suspicious transactions on store surveillance cameras.

Gray has been charged with felony theft by deception.
