A shooting that left a man dead Tuesday at a DeKalb County house may have started as an attempted robbery, police said.

“There were other people in the house at the time,”  DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell said.

The incident took place in the 900 block of Rowland Road.

The man’s name, the motive and other details have not been released.
