Woman’s body found near home in NW Atlanta

Atlanta police are investigating after a woman’s body was found outside a home on Griffin Street just off North Avenue.
Witnesses told police they were walking about 4 p.m. Wednesday when they saw a body next to a brown home, Channel 2 Action News reported. The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Kimberly Lambert-Dorsey.
“There are no obvious signs of foul play,” Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
