An ambulance responded to a fire at the Atlanta police firing range in DeKalb County. No one was injured.

Part of the Atlanta Police Department firing range was “significantly damaged” by fire Saturday, a spokesman said.

Police were informed of the fire at the DeKalb County facility about 10:40 a.m., Officer Jarius Daugherty said in a statement. It’s located in the 1500 block of Key Road.

Crews from DeKalb County Fire Rescue responded and put out the fire, according to Daugherty.

“At this time it appears that one storage shed containing range equipment, ammo and lawn equipment was significantly damaged,” he said.

There were no injuries, according to Daugherty. The cause has not been determined, and the investigation continues
