Two men were arrested and one is still at large in a $300,000 theft of six cars from Jim Ellis Audi, Marietta police said.

The investigation began more than a year ago and led police to Ola Campbell Oginni, Mann El-Ali Abess and Akintayo Bolorunduro, Officer Chuck McPhilamy said. They each face racketeering charges in thefts that occurred between April and June of 2016.

“Detectives uncovered a systematic plan the three individuals concocted to steal high end automobiles,” McPhilamy said. “Each of the men played a different role in the theft and resale of the vehicles.”

Mann was arrested March 9 and is believed to have taken the keys from a locked cabinet and removed six high end cars worth $300,000 from the lot. He remains in the Cobb County jail on $60,000 bond and is on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold, according to jail records.

Police arrested Oginni April 6 on accusations he’d brokered the sale and collected commission on the cars, McPhilamy said. He has since bonded out of jail.

Authorities are still looking for Bolorunduro.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Arrowood at 770-794-5371 or the Marietta Police Department Anonymous Tip Line at 770-794-6990.
