A man is in jail after he allegedly shot and killed someone outside a southwest Atlanta strip club Saturday.

David Robinson, 32, faces a murder charge in the death of Jalal Ross-Beyah outside Peaches of Atlanta, Channel 2 Action News reported.

He waived his first appearance hearing Monday at the Fulton County jail, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.  Robinson also faces three counts each of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Ross-Beyah, 29, of East Point, was shot multiple times.

Officers responded about 1:40 a.m. Saturday to the 700 block of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard, where the strip club is located, Atlanta police told Channel 2.

A preliminary investigation indicates the suspect and victim were inside a vehicle when they got into an argument, police told Channel 2. Robinson pulled out a firearm and shot Ross-Beyah, and security guards detained Robinson when he got out of the vehicle, police said.

Robinson is being held without bond.
