Hall County authorities assisted in capturing an “armed and dangerous” suspect Friday, according to a media report.

Alton Lee Davidson was charged with two counts of kidnapping and aggravated assault in Banks County, the Gainesville Times reported.

Officers from several agencies responded to the Wilson Shoals Wildlife Management Area in Alto, according to the report.

A Banks County sheriff’s spokeswoman said there was a “violent domestic (situation)” between him and two women, who were found in the area, according to the report.

Police dogs also were deployed, the paper reported.
