Accused Florida child sexual predator may be in metro Atlanta

A man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in Florida may be hiding in Clayton County, officials said Tuesday.
Gary L. Denney is wanted on rape charges in Franklin County, according to the Clayton County sheriff’s office. It is believed he is in Clayton County or other parts of the metro area.
He had previously been convicted of lewd and lascivious acts against a child and failing to register as a sex offender, Florida officials said.
Anyone with information on Denney’s whereabouts is asked to call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 850-670-8500.
