Cher, John Mayer and dozens of fans react to the death of ‘soulful trailblazer’ Gregg Allman

Fans and fellow musicians shared their sorrow and sentiments on social media following the news that Gregg Allman, a trailblazer of Southern rock, died at his Savannah home Saturday.
Loved ones shared the news on his Facebook page earlier today.
The 69-year-old founding member of legendary band The Allman Brothers had been ill the last several years, and earlier this year canceled several concerts in Atlanta and abroad.
On Saturday afternoon, celebrities like Allman’s former wife Cher and numerous devoted fans paid tribute to Allman on social media.
