A man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital after he was shot in the stomach, Atlanta police said.

The victim was shot about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday outside the West End Mall in southwest Atlanta, police spokeswoman Officer Stephanie Brown said. He was found shot in the street.

Brown said three men were seen running in the direction of the West End MARTA station

Police do not know what led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.

No information on the victim has been released.
