A Georgia woman died in a wreck on I-75 in Florida Saturday afternoon, Gainesville.com reported.

Antonia Carvalho De Sousa, 37, of Acworth, died at the scene of the crash, which also injured two other passengers traveling with her, according to a Florida Highway Patrol release obtained by Gainesville.com. The two injured included an 8-year-old girl, and both were transported to the UF Health Shands with minor injuries.

The crash took place near the 404 mile marker of I-75 when two southbound vehicles crashed after both drivers swerved to try to avoid a third vehicle, the release said.

De Sousa drove a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder and the other involved vehicle was a 2017 Lexus GX 460 driven by Ronny Yung, 64, of Lisle, Ill., the release said. Both tried to avoid a white BMW, also traveling south, that changed lanes without caution, the release said.

De Sousa’s Nissan overturned and Yung’s Lexus crashing into a guardrail, the release said. Yung and two passengers in his vehicle received no injuries.

Troopers are searching for the white BMW but don’t have any current leads, Gainesville.com reported. An investigation is ongoing.
