Atlanta’s amateur motorcyclists join Monster Energy Supercross

SUPERCROSS AMATEURS A day after competitive motorcycle racing came to Atlanta ... the Supercross Amateur racing event was held. The March 4 racing at Mercedes-Benz Stadium brought out young competitors. Just like the professional Monster Energy Supercross, the amateurs had some high-flying fun. Riders raced around a track made up of 4,000 tons of Georgia red clay.

A week after monster trucks invaded the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the first time and a day after professional competitive motorcyclists squared off, more youthful riders and racers took to the dirt-filled destination on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

The action was still high-flying and thrilling for the amateurs who raced around the red clay track.

The event gave the motorcyclists the opportunity to race on a real supercross track.
