A California veterinarian has been getting some extra attention lately after photos of him loving on various furry friends went viral.

Dr. Evan Antin works as an exotic animal veterinarian at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital in Thousand Oaks.

Antin's love of exotic animals has taken him around the world. He spent several months in Australia and Tanzania and has traveled across North America, through New Zealand and into the Pacific Islands to interact with wildlife, according to a biography from Canejo Valley Veterinary Hospital.

"Since I've become a veterinarian, it's been one of the most gratifying things to help out wild animals native to the exotic corners of the world," he told Buzzfeed.

He previously turned heads in 2014 as People magazine's "Sexiest Beast Charmer." He got the title in the magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue, according to KABC.

"I thought it was pretty funny," he told the news network. "I've always strived to be the sexiest something, and so I'm glad it could be a vet."

His hobbies include snowboarding, hiking and weightlifting, according to the Canejo Valley Veterinary Hospital.
