Town festival: The annual Clarkston Culture Fest will celebrate the city's diversity with live performances plus information stations about food, clothing, art and traditions in countries such as Somalia, Ethiopia and Korea; a kids zone will include face and nail painting, henna, hair braiding and carnival games. Community outreach: Roswell churches will band together for the ninth annual Day of Hope, an event which will include medical screenings, haircuts, lunch, children's games and a pair of new shoes for every family member while supplies last. Holocaust Remembrance Day: A Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) commemoration ceremony will feature remarks from Tilar J. Anniversary gala: Emmaus House will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an outdoor gala called Forward From 50, which will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and live music. Trail races: The eighth annual monastery trail races will include an 8-, 3.1- and 1.2-mile courses over dirt or grass terrain.
