An Arizona family has handed down a unique item through generations: a "brand-new" pair of Levi’s jeans that are now 124 years old.

Jock Taylor is the great-great-grandson of shopkeeper Solomon Warner, according to AZCentral.com. Warner was known for opening the first general store in Tucson in 1856. After his death, his belongings were handed down to members of the family. Taylor inherited a trunk full of Warner's belongings in 2009. Inside was a Bible, a blanket, a saddle and a pair of unworn Levi's jeans. The jeans have a 44-inch waist and bear a manufacturing date of 1893.

The Levi’s could hold more than just sentimental value; "denim hunters" are known to pay a premium price for such rare finds, and the Levi Strauss Co. has offered Taylor $50,000 for the family heirloom.

Taylor is keeping the jeans in the family for now. The jeans were featured on an episode of "Strange Inheritance."
