December 26 may be the day after Christmas or the first day of Kwanzaa.  But the day also brings National Candy Cane day.

So if you're tired of the peppermint, sugary treat, there are other ways to use the candy instead of just tossing them in the trash.

You could leave them up as decorations or pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa and use the cane to stir the chocolate.
