It's flu season in Georgia. And Cobb County isn't immune.

It's time to prepare for flu season, which runs from October to May, so you better be able to recognize the symptoms and take preventive measures to fight the flu. The first step in the battle is to get your flu shot. Because who wants the stomach flu?

Most cases of influenza are likely to occur in February, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The second and third most common months are December and March.
