CDC WARNING: Mutating flu evades this year’s vaccine

If you got a flu shot this year, there’s still a chance you or your family could get sick.

The Centers for Disease Control said this year's flu vaccine is not as effective against the current strain of influenza.

Officials said the virus has mutated, which means the flu shot won’t protect you from what’s going around.

The CDC still recommends the vaccine because it decreases the severity of the virus.
