Austin Dillon won the 2018 Daytona 500 on Sunday after a re-start following a late crash. Dillon led one lap of the famed auto race - the last one.

The win in the No. 3 care was his first Daytona 500. It came 20 years after Dale Earnhardt won in the iconic numbered car.

Dillon said he won for the late Earnhardt and all his fans.

The Braves icon served as an honorary official for the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Jones, who grew up near the race track, is a big NASCAR fan.
