From Duluth down to Smyrna, metro Atlantans have a plenty of ways to squeeze out all the fun from their last weekend before their millions of new neighbors arrive next week for the Super Bowl.

Cher will be in town performing some of her greatest hits. There will be a chance to learn the art of making lasagna. For fans of comic culture, one of the biggest events in the city will take place this weekend.

That’s a dusting of the fun in store this weekend in Atlanta. Here are some of the top events we’ve picked to enjoy this weekend across metro Atlanta.

Cobb

Smyrna Oysterfest. Starts at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 and at noon on Sunday, Jan. 27. $8 plus fees in advance, $12 at door, kids 12 and under admitted free. Atkins Park, 2840 Atlanta Road SE, Smyrna. 770-435-1887. https://smyrnaoysterfest.com/.

Whether you like your oysters raw, grilled or fried, you'll be able to get plenty of freshly shucked ones at Smyrna's 8th Annual Oysterfest. The main stage is in a heated tent, where you'll get to experience live Mardi Gras-inspired music.

Trains! Trains! Trains! 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 26. Adults $7.50, seniors $6.50, children ages 4-12 $5.50, children 3 and under and members free. The Southern Museum's most popular annual event returns with new and expanded layouts. You'll get to interact with and operate a variety of trains and buy new train- and railroad-themed items at the gift shop.

Get your motor runnin' at The Great American Motorcycle Show this weekend in Cobb.

The Georgia Symphony Orchestra features the sounds of two contrasting composers in a program of old and new music with the sacred minimalism of Arvo Pärt and the appealing melodies of Franz Schubert.

Take the kids to see the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra's presentation of the family favorite Peter and the Wolf. The orchestral concert features dancers from the Decatur School of Ballet and each character in the story is represented by their own tune that's played by certain instruments.

Callanwolde's winter artist market features the work of over 80 artists whose work will be displayed throughout the mansion.
