One person even tweeted some photos of “Us” being filmed on the boardwalk.

“Us” grossed more than $70 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend. It was the largest opening weekend ever for an original horror movie.

The movie stars Lupita Nyong’o as the mother of a family that meets scary versions of themselves while on vacation at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
