The "Happiest Place on Earth" has gone a little mad.

Mad as a Hatter, that is, thanks to Johnny Depp.

The actor who has brought characters like Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka and Rango to life greeted guests at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Mind you, he wasn't there in person, but via what turned into an interactive ad display for his new film "Alice Through the Looking Glass."

The digital display was showing different characters from the movie sequel, which is due out May 27.

But one was a little more animated than others.
