A Costa Rica getaway or a private tour and tasting at a brewery for you and dozens of your closest friends.  A yearlong “in” to the best concerts at Variety Playhouse and Terminal West. Or what about scoring Pam from “Archer” (aka Atlanta actress Amber Nash) to record the outgoing message for your cell phone?

Not to mention the satisfaction that comes from helping to keep Atlanta’s premiere green space in the, uh, pink.

Those silent auction items are just some of what’s on tap at the annual “Party for Piedmont Park,” which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.  Now in its 13th year, the event raises money for the Piedmont Park Conservancy, the nonprofit organization that works in partnership with the city of Atlanta to conserve and improve the 185-acre park that’s the physical and emotional heart of the metro area.

Responsible for over 90 percent of the park's daily maintenance care and security costs, the Conservancy also helps raise funds for capital improvements -- some $66 million worth since 1989, it says. And it requires $3 million in donations each year to maintain and run the home of everything from the Aquatic Center and (two) dog parks to a weekly green market and the annual Music Midtown extravaganza.

All this and VIP passes! Great access and other perks  the annual music fest (seen here in a 2016 photo) are one of the auction items up for grabs at The Party for Piedmont Park.. (Akili-Casundria Ramsess/Special to the AJC)

Thursday's "Party" at Greystone in Piedmont Park will feature live music, an open bar and food from top Atlanta restaurants. But the centerpiece arguably is the silent auction, with dozens of items, packages and only-in-Atlanta experiences like special VIP passes to Music Midtown or the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival, and a "Tiny Doors Tour." The latter is a personal tour conducted by the creator of the groundbreaking public art project that installs clever, petite doors in outdoor locations around town.

A few other auction highlights: A one-year studio lease at Yoo on the Park; an all-you-can-eat-and-drink package for six at an upcoming Braves game that includes seats in the Delta Sky 360 Executive section; an overnight “Serenbe Experience,” and an “Archer” package that includes a tour of the Atlanta studio behind the hit show, a personalized cartoon picture of yourself with the cast and that Pam voice message mentioned above.

Tickets to The Party for Piedmont Park are available for $75 at www.piedmontpark.org.  Not available to "Party," but still want to bid on items in the silent auction? Email jrudder@piedmontpark.org to create an online bidder account.
