Trump shares his birthday with the Army, which was founded on this date in 1775 when the Continental Congress authorized "the formation of ten companies of expert riflemen from Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, which were directed to march to Boston to support the New England militia," according to Army history.
While receiving birthday wishes on social media, Trump tweeted a happy birthday to the Army.
Happy birthday to U.S. ARMY and our soldiers. Thank you for your bravery, sacrifices, & dedication. Proud to be your Commander-in-Chief!
