Friday, August 8, marks the 45th anniversary of one of the most iconic rock album cover photo shoots of all time, The Beatles' Abbey Road.

TheBeatles.com web site released outtakes from the photo shoot Friday morning. At some points during Friday morning, traffic to the site appeared to be overwhelming the servers and fans were having difficulty loading the page.
