Sandy Springs-based UPS has struck a deal for a joint venture with Chinese logistics company SF Holding.

UPS expects the partnership with SF Holding, the parent company of Chinese express logistics firm SF Express, to allow it to grow international deliveries from China to the United States and eventually to other destinations.

The joint venture is subject to regulatory approval. UPS said the deal would combine SF’s Chinese network with the UPS network in more than 220 countries.
