Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is inviting companies to submit proposals for more than 80 new retail shops around the domestic terminal and concourses.

The Atlanta airport is seeking proposals for contracts for ten different packages of retail concessions locations.

The airport plans to hold a pre-proposal conference for interested companies on Aug. 3 at noon at the Georgia International Convention Center, followed by a site tour.

The current due date for proposals is Sept. 6 at 2 p.m.

The number of retail shop locations varies depending on the contract, from two locations to 22 locations in a single contract. The contracts are for seven years with a potential three-year renewal.

Last year, airport shops, restaurants, rental cars, advertising, banking, luggage carts and other services generated a total of $1 billion in sales last year, according to airport officials.
