There are a number of companies across the metro Atlanta area seeking new employees of all skill levels. Whether you're in retail, healthcare or finance, there are opportunities that span several industries. Here's a brief snapshot of what's available this month:

American Signature Furniture

The new Alpharetta location is having open interviews on Dec. 19 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Alpharetta North Point. No appointments are necessary. The company is looking for store managers, inside sales, office, warehouse, visual and store management positions.

Army National Guard

Interested in the military? There are more than 7,000 jobs available across the nation. More than 30 positions are open in Atlanta, Kennesaw, Marietta and Newnan. From medical equipment repairers to public affairs broadcast specialists, there are a variety of offerings.

Coca-Cola

One of the world's top 10 private employers, Coca-Cola employs about 130,000 people around the world, including many in Atlanta. The company has employees who perform a wide variety of jobs including information technology workers, truck drivers, accountants, sales managers, pilots and graphic artists.

There are currently more than 80 openings in Atlanta and Alpharetta in the administrative, human resources, information technology, legal, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and maintenance departments.

Honeywell 

Morris Plains, N.J.-based Honeywell said in a news release that it has leased 62,000 square feet or two floors of 715 Peachtree Street, a building near the Fox Theatre that’s undergoing a significant overhaul by an ownership team led by Atlanta-based real estate firm Carter.

In a news conference with Gov. Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed at the time, Honeywell officials announced plans to open a global software development center and move its home business to Atlanta in a move that is expected to create more than 800 high-paying jobs.

Macy's

The department store is seeking thousands of employees for the holiday season and beyond. Openings are available at call centers, megacenters and product-specific fulfillment centers across the nation including in Stone Mountain. Applicants can apply on macysJOBS.com or bloomingdalesJOBS.com.

The Work Source DeKalb Mobile Career Center

The career center will be stationed throughout the county during December, hosting three to four events a week.

The mobile unit will provide residents with job search assistance, adult workshops and training, resume writing and interviewing tips. Businesses can also use it for recruiting, pre-employment screenings, interviewing and training. Click here for all of the dates.

Turner Field Community Hiring Fair
Pre-register online by Dec. 7 and head out to the Turner Field Community Hiring Fair on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the FanPlex.

Entry to mid-level job opportunities will be available in the following fields: construction, hospitality and tourism, security, transportation and warehouse and delivery. The following employers will be present at the event: UPS, Hilton, Home Depot, Georgia State University, Carter, Norred & Associates, All N One Security, Memco Staffing, Corporate Services Management, Best Bank and the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management, Parks and Recreation and Public Works.
