The first day of spring is March 20, and Dairy Queen is celebrating the new season's arrival with free ice cream.

"Free Cone Day" will take place at non-mall Dairy Queen locations, as well as at DQ Grill & Chill locations, according to the press release. Fans can enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone (limit one per customer while supplies last). The offer is valid only at United States locations.

While the cone is free, Dairy Queen will be accepting donations to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals on March 20. In 2016, Dairy Queen raised more than $200,000 in one day for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, according to the press release.
