TreeHouse Foods Inc. has voluntarily recalled certain macaroni and cheese cups, which may be contaminated with salmonella.

The company found the milk powder from its supplier used in the seasoning has the potential for salmonella contamination. Salmonella can cause diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps.

Walmart’s Great Value Macaroni & Cheese Original Cups were impacted. Other brands impacted included Big Win Original Macaroni & Cheese Dinner and the Cheese Club Express Mac Macaroni & Cheese Dinner.

The press release from the company said no illnesses have been reported. The elderly, infants and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.

The products were distributed nationwide. The company urged consumers to throw away any impacted products or return the products for a full refund. Consumers may call 1-800-756-5781 Monday - Friday from  7 a.m. -6 p.m. CST with any questions.
