Rachel Campbell, a graphic designer and founder of the branding and creative design firm, Logos Atlanta, provided the winning 2012 t-shirt design.

Jessica Ferguson, a student at West Georgia, designed the 2011 shirt.

In 2009, the race finish line returned to Piedmont Park, but the T-shirt contained the same familiar themes: the peach and the American flag. This one kind of made you want to hop in the car after picking up the T-shirt and head for Route 66.

In 2008, the Peachtree found itself with a new finish line: The Atlanta Civic Center. However, design was somewhat the same, calling in the patriotic theme of the 4th with a more jazzy feel than years' past.

In 2007, lime green made a debut on a Peachtree t-shirt. With one of the largest peaches and the largest year to grace a Peachtree t-shirt, this shirt will be hard to top.

Several aspects -- the American flag, the peach, and a stylized font -- were combined to create the 2006 t-shirt.

In 2005, Peachtree Street ran through this t-shirt design while fireworks lit up the Atlanta skyline.

For 2004, the t-shirt reverted back to a patriotic feel, summoning in a blast from the past with the winged running shoe that appeared in the very first Peachtree t-shirt.

In 2003, the t-shirt bounced back to its normal fun and light-hearted mood. Check out the stylized font and yes, that is Atlanta rising from the cross-section of a peach.

The 2002 t-shirt, the first after Sept. 11, was the first shirt to prominently feature the American Flag.

The 2001 t-shirt stuck to the theme of running shoes and bright colors. Shirt designer, Michael Bernier, said he wanted a "literal translation of peachtree, not just the road."

Like the "Idol" craze, Peacthree Road Race t-shirts are quite the coveted prize for runners who successfully make it to Piedmont Park each year. The 2000 t-shirt rang in the new decade with a design of funky footprints and bright orange and blue colors.
