Falcons worked out six players on Monday

The Falcons, who have an open roster spot after placing Jack Crawford (torn biceps) on injured reserved, worked out six players on Monday.

Defensive end Sterling Bailey (Georgia),  linebacker Lavar Edwards (Louisiana State), defensive end Pat O’Connor (Eastern Michigan), defensive end Devin Taylor (South Carolina), defensive end Nicholas Williams (Samford), defensive end Jonathan Woodward (Central Arkansas).

Bailey, who played at East Hall High in Gainesville, after going undrafted in 2016, has spent time on the practice squads of the the Colts, Vikings, Seahawks and Bucs.

Bailey, 25, is 6-foot-3 and 296 pounds. He played in 42 games at Georgia and made 19 starts.
