Mike Luckovich updates his Round File for May 2018

The AJC's political cartoonist Mike Luckovich talks about cartoons that didn't make the grade -- and some that did.

I kind of liked this one, but there was so much other news this week, I never drew it.

I almost did this one, but decided to draw on a different topic.

This was my first idea on the collapse of the summit with North Korea.

This is the one I ended up doing.

This idea was OK, but needed to be cleverer.

We learned recently that Hannity and Trump are on the phone together sometimes multiple times each day. There was so much news this week, this topic was kind of forgotten, so I ended up not doing this.

Russia apparently funneled money through the NRA to the Trump campaign. This was my first idea.

This was my second idea.

This is the one I ended up doing.
