March 30 Trump at the Cross

Well, evangelicals are supposed to be all about Jesus. Trump does not seem to be that way. In my opinion, he seems to be against everything that Jesus would stand for. This ran on Good Friday. I like this cartoon, it was fun to draw.

June 19, Dad in MAGA hat

I like this cartoon just because I think this is happening in many families. In spite of what’s happening in the country, there are many people who are still sticking with Trump. I have this situation in my own family, too.

June 20, caged children.

This whole separating parents and children situation at the border disturbs me. This whole seeking asylum matter; they have a legal right to seek asylum. And children and parents held in cages? To me, it’s one of the most depressing stories of the whole year. Just how low have we sunk?

July 17, Putin channels Trump

I like this cartoon because it was fun to be able to take Trump’s words and be able to change them just a little bit, so as to make my point that he’s under Putin’s sway somehow.

Sept. 6, Trump in baby walker

I thought this was funny, and it was fun to draw him in whatever that little thing is, a baby walker. Bob Woodward’s wife actually gave him a copy of this cartoon for Christmas.

Oct. 17, the real horseface

I drew this cartoon after he called Stormy Daniels “horseface”. When I came up with this idea, I was hoping my editors would approve of it. I was really glad they did, and that it ran.

Oct. 24

Brian Kemp

This whole election was so frustrating because here was Brian Kemp, as Georgia Secretary of State, he was kind of running the election — and running in it too! He’s a longtime person who has tried to suppress votes, I believe, and I think it’s shameful.

Dec. 2

In memoriam, Geo. H.W. Bush.

You know, both George H.W. and his wife Barbara, America has known them for so long. I didn’t always agree with him, but I always thought he was trying to do his best. And, you know, when someone passes away, the politics just isn’t as important as noting their humanity.
