Today’s debate focuses on the integrity of our voting machines, a timely topic with Election Day arriving Tuesday and the March 1 presidential primary just four months away. A top state official writes that Georgia does more than most to ensure the voting process remains reliable and accessible, citing the introduction of online registration and the GA Votes app. But a voting rights advocate contends the state’s voting machines are outdated and don’t keep up with modern technology.
