Mike Luckovich shares his Round File for January 2020

AJC political cartoonist talks about cartoons that were never published - and some that were.

Just didn’t love this idea.

Wasn’t sure if this worked.

Liked this idea, was gonna do it, but came up with a slightly different approach.

This is the one I ended up going with.

President Trump said he’ll cut Social Security. The next day he said he’d protect it from Democrats who want to kill it. Trump is nuts.

Other than the impeachment trial, the only other big issue was Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman apparently hacking Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' phone, although details remain murky.

Also for publicity, Mr. Peanut’s gonna be killed off. This cartoon explains how.

This was fun to draw and I got to do something on the Democrats running.
