Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes was killed in a car crash on April 25, 2002. She was a founding member of the R & B group TLC.

OOOOOOOHHH.... ON THE TLC TIP: Back in the day, when people said TLC, they were referring to singers Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of the R&B girl group -- not to the network known for shows like "Little People, Big World" and "Cake Boss." VH1 announced this week that they'll take us back to that time with a biopic on the music group. And in other TLC news, it was also revealed this week that T-Boz has filed for bankruptcy.

JUST A LITTLE MORE TLC: Surviving TLC members Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne”T-Boz” Watkins reiterated they’re planning a new album, tour and VH1 biopic, news that they’ve mentioned in recent weeks in various media outlets. This will be their first album since 2002’s “3D,” which was released a few months after the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who died in a car crash in Honduras.

Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, a controversial member of chart-topping American R&B trio TLC, was killed in a car crash in Honduras on April 25, 2002, a spokeswoman for her record label said. Lopes, who was in her early 30s, made the headlines in 1994 after she was arrested for burning down the house of then-boyfriend, former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Andre Rison. In this June 10, 1994, file photo, TLC member Lisa Lopes is escorted from the Fulton County Police Department after turning herself in for allegedly setting fire to Andre Rison's house. She was sentenced to five years' probation in connection with the incident. Lopes died in a car wreck in April 2002.
