Home sales have started to pick up again in metro Atlanta this month, although they remain far from the figures for a typical May.

"With the removal of the shelter-in-place order at the end of April, activity has rebounded quickly," Atlanta Realtors Association president Jennifer Pino told the AJC. "Pending sales project a strong summer market."
