Walt Geer and Sarah Blackman’s Alpharetta brownstone has lovely touches of Christmas cheer throughout. They worked with Brenda Jones with Thrive and Design and Missy Boggs to design their holiday decor. Jones and Boggs also do the holiday decor at Santa’s Fantastical, an interactive Christmas experience that Geer and Blackman own in Atlanta.
The couple bought their townhome in 2017, before any of the other homes in their community had been purchased, and before their unit had been finished.
“We got to pick out all of the interior finishes,” said Geer. “We really got to make it ours.”
The main draw for them was the home’s location, in the heart of Alpharetta. The walkability of the neighborhood and it’s proximity to most of what they needed was a big plus.
“Once I could walk to the dentist I felt like I was living in a movie,” said Blackman.
The couple worked with interior designer Christopher Taillard to create the interior style of their new home.
“He did a great job knowing the essence of us, the creativity in our relationship and how important this stuff is in our world,” said Geer.
