Photos: Castleberry Hill loft is the perfect downsize for couple
Art from Thailand, Istanbul and their own families fill the Castleberry Hill loft of Diana and Kevin Sheldon. In a large gallery wall that stretches the length of their staircase there are paintings from Italy, a mermaid figurine from Alaska, wood carvings from Thailand.

Homeowner Diana Sheldon was inspired to begin painting mannequins when she saw one in a hair salon. Since then she has taken one of her mannequins to Burning Man, and she is now preparing for an art show. So far her mannequins all have a floral, organic theme. “They’re blossoming you could say,” said Diana. “The female form is incredible in all its iterations.” Text by Shannon Dominy.
