We’ve all been there — rushing around on Christmas Day for last-minute gifts or ingredients for holiday dishes. Luckily, we’re not alone in the struggle, and a few stores will be open on Christmas.

Most stores keep their doors closed, but there are a few pharmacies and convenience stores that will remain open. The most important thing to remember is to call ahead. Even if you search Google for a location’s holiday hours, they might not be accurate.

Here’s a breakdown of stores open on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2019:

Pharmacies

CVS: Most stores are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Locations inside Target stores will be closed.

Rite Aid: Most locations are open 24/7

Walgreens: Either open 24/7 or open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Convenience stores

7-Eleven: Most locations open 24/7

Circle K: Most locations open 24/7

Retailers

Family Dollar: Most are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Some locations may have limited hours

Starbucks: Most locations close at 5 p.m.
