With the increasing amount of fitness studios and health-centric events in Atlanta, you wouldn't have to look very far to fill your weekly schedule with enough stretching, cardio and strength training to keep yourself in shape. Here are six great ways to stay fit for free this week.
Running for Brews at Elbow Room

You don't need a fancy studio or a hardcore teacher to get a good sweat, but sometimes we all need a little bit of encouragement to cross the finish line. Running for Brews, the self-proclaimed "most chill running club in the world" meets every Monday at 7 to run a 5k route that begins and ends at Elbow Room, capping off a successful calorie burn session with a "victory brew." Interested? Just fill out a running waiver and show up!
Run Club at Ponce City Market

Get social with your regular run and join these lifestyle and fitness brands at Ponce City Market, where fitness fiends meet for a 2.5 or 5 mile run between lululemon and Mountain High Outfitters. The club's PCM event listing states that beers will be provided if the club reaches 30 people- all the more reason to make this an outing for your whole crew.
Zumba at the Library

Libraries aren't exactly known for the athleticism of their patrons, but Roswell's public library offers a number of free fitness classes for the community. This zumba class is open to the public and requires no registration, but get there early--class is limited to the first 25 attendees.
Poolside Fit Barre at W Buckhead

Atlanta-based barre chain Pink Barre is taking their tucking poolside with a free class on the rooftop of the W in Buckhead. Online sign-up is required, and spots fill quickly--keep on the lookout for more upcoming poolside fun!
Sunday Morning Yoga at lululemon Avalon

Join lululemon every Sunday for a free yoga class presented by a rotating cast of local studios. This month's yogis join lululemon from Roswell Yoga Life, a studio that offers a variation on the practice ranging from pre-natal yoga to ashtanga, yin and vinyasa classes.
Donation Yoga at Nirvana Yoga

This weekly class at Grant Park's Nirvana Yoga is all about making the peaceful practice available to everyone, regardless of their means. Those who wish to donate can give any amount of funds in exchange for the class, while yogis with lighter wallets can enjoy the class for free. Proceeds from the class go to The Learning Tea, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for underprivileged women in India.
